The month’s statements, without waiting for the close.
Income statement and balance sheet, calculated from the general ledger for whatever period you choose, without waiting for anyone to consolidate anything. The direct-method cash flow statement is already calculated; its screen is in development.
How it works
Your signed-off days fill the ledger
Every signed-off day is already a journal entry in the general ledger, with its account and its line.
Choose the period
The income statement by period; the balance sheet as of a date.
Review the trial balance
Opening balance, activity for the period and ending balance, account by account.
What’s included
- Income statement by period, with revenue, costs, expenses and net financing result.
- Balance sheet as of a date, with assets, liabilities and equity, and current-year earnings and retained earnings where they belong.
- Trial balance with opening balance, activity for the period and ending balance.
- Account detail: every transaction with its date, its journal entry and its description.
The limit
Statements are produced per hotel. A group with several legal entities sees each entity’s statements; group consolidation is on the way and isn’t presented as a feature available today.
The direct-method cash flow statement (NIF B-2, Mexico’s cash flow standard) is already calculated and ties out to the cash on the balance sheet, but it doesn’t have a screen yet.

What about the cash flow statement?
It’s already calculated using the direct method and ties out to the cash on the balance sheet; its screen is in development.
Can I see consolidated statements for my group?
Today statements are produced per hotel. Group consolidation is in development and appears on the roadmap.
Start with yesterday.
If your hotel already signs off on its night audit, Containn can post yesterday today. The chart of accounts is set up in one step, the transaction code mapping is done once, and from then on every signed-off day becomes a journal entry.
